Sengoku Night Blood Game Ends Service on December 25

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Game launched in May 2017, inspired anime in October 2017

The official website for the Sengoku Night Blood smartphone game announced on Thursday that the game will end service on December 25 at 3:00 p.m. JST. The announcement noted that staff decided it would be difficult to continue to offer service that would satisfy users.

Sales of in-game currency ended on Thursday. Players will be able to use their previously purchased in-game currency until the game ends service.

Marvelous, Kadokawa, and Idea Factory's Otomate otome game brand launched the game for iOS and Android devices in May 2017. The "Warring States romance fantasy" game centers around different warlords from Japan's Warring States (Sengoku) period, who are all involved with the player character. Each of the six factions in the game feature a different Otomate artist.

The game inspired a television anime adaptation that premiered in October 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
