Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Game's Video Reveals January 9 Launch for PC

Expansion launched for PS4, Xbox One on September 6

CAPCOM began streaming a trailer on Friday to reveal that the Monster Hunter Word: Iceborne expansion game will launch for PC via Steam on January 9.

A new collaboration with the Horizon Zero Dawn game will start in November. The new collaboration will feature new quests in both November and December. Monster Hunter World previously collaborated with the Horizon Zero Dawn game.

The game's free updates for this year also include the new monster Rajang in October, and a new monster in December.

CAPCOM also announced on Friday that the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion has a combined shipments and digital sales number of 2.5 million. The expansion launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6. The expansion features a new story that begins after the events of the main game, as well as new quest ranks, locales, monsters, moves, and equipment.

Monster Hunter World launched worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018. The game has shipped 13.1 million copies as of June 30. The overall Monster Hunter franchise has more than 58 million copies in sales as of Friday.
