Anime Limited Releasing More Gundam: The Origin, Atttack on Titan Vinyl Soundtrack (Updated)

posted on by Andrew Osmond
New announcements at MCM London Comic Con

At MCM London Comic Con, Anime Limited announced that it will release a Collector's Edition Blu-ray of the fifth and sixth episodes of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, before the end of 2019. This is the original OVA series; the first four episodes are already available from the company. The fifth episode is subtitled "Clash at Loum" (released in Japan in 2017) and the sixth episode is subtitled "Rise of the Red Comet" (released in Japan in 2018).

The arc covers the Battle of Loum, the pivotal conflict in the One Year War's early days before most of the events depicted in the first Mobile Suit Gundam anime. The battle came after the Operation British space colony drop and other devastating events that wiped out nearly a third of the human population. Char Aznable, the nemesis of the first Gundam anime's protagonist Amuro Ray, became famous as the legendary ace "Red Comet" during this war.

In addition to Char and his infamous Zaku II mobile suit mecha, the new episode features Char's younger sister Sayla, the Zeon pilot Ramba Ral and his lover Hamon, and Amuro and Fraw Bow (living in the tranquil Side 7 colonies before the specter of war visits them).

Anime Limited also announced it will release a vinyl edition of the Hiroyki Sawano's Attack on Titan soundtracks for the TV seasons 1, 2 and 3 in 2020.

Additionally, the company confirmed that it is still planning a home release of the feature film Penguin Highway.

Update - More details added.
