Re:Zero Hyōketsu no Kizuna Anime's 3rd Promo Video Previews nonoc's Song

OVA opens in theaters in Japan on November 8

The official website for the Re:Zero anime revealed the third promotional video and second key visual for the Re:Zero Hyōketsu no Kizuna (Frozen Bonds) original video anime (OVA) on Thursday. The video previews nonoc's theme song "Yuki no Hate ni Kimi no Na o."

The anime will screen in theaters in Japan starting on November 8. People who attend screenings from November 8 to 14 will receive the 96-page novel Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Hyōketsu no Kizuna Before Memories by light novel author Tappei Nagatsuki. People who attend screenings from November 15 to 21 will receive one of four B5-size Emilia notebooks with art by the anime's character designer Kyuta Sakai. Both theater bonus items will be available while supplies last.

The OVA will adapt the meeting between Emilia and Puck. The original Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Zenjitsu-tan: Hyōketsu no Kizuna prequel novel was included with the first Blu-ray Disc home video release of the television anime series in Japan.

The 25-episode Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- anime adaptation premiered in April 2016. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll is also streaming both the Re:Zero ~Starting Break Time From Zero~ and Re:PETIT ~Starting Life in Another World from PETIT~ short anime spinoff series. Funimation released the television anime on home video with an English dub in June 2018.

The first OVA episode in the franchise, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Memory Snow, opened in Japanese theaters in October 2018 at #8. The episode featured a returning cast and staff.

The television anime is getting a second season.

Tappei Nagatsuki launched the original novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2012. Yen Press is publishing the light novel series in English, and is also releasing Daichi Matsuse's manga adaptation of the series, as well as the Re:Zero Ex spinoff light novel series.
