Goblin Slayer Released Monday

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Also second volume of Fate/Apocrypha

On Monday November 4, Manga Entertainment will release the television anime adaptation of Kumo Kagyu's Goblin Slayer light novel series Goblin Slayer as a Blu-ray/DVD Collectors Edition and a standard DVD. The Collectors Edition will include art cards and a 48-page art book.

Yen Press described the series; "A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It's the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue--a man who's dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there's no telling who might come calling next."

Takaharu Ozaki (Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers-, Girls' Last Tour) directed the anime at WHITE FOX. Hideyuki Kurata (Read or Die, Made in Abyss, Kamichu!) was in charge of series composition and wrote the scripts alongside Yousuke Kuroda (Jormungand, My Hero Academia). Takashi Nagayoshi (Girls' Last Tour animation director) designed the characters. Mili was credited for the opening theme song "Region," and Soraru performed the show's ending theme song.

MVM will release the second volume of Fate/Apocrypha, carrying episodes 13 to 25.
