Staff to launch crowdfunding on November 25, with game slated for PS4, Switch

Experience confirmed in a live stream last Friday that it will release a new game in its Spirit Hunter horror game series titled Shibito Magire (Corpse Confusion). The staff will launch a crowdfunding campaign on the Campfire website on November 25 to raise 15 million yen (about US$137,900). The game is slated for the PlayStation 4 and Switch in 2021.

The game is the third game in the Spirit Hunter series, following Spirit Hunter: Death Mark (Volume I) and Spirit Hunter: NG (Volume II). Experience shipped Spirit Hunter: Death Mark for PS Vita in June 2017, and then launched a PS4 version in January 2018. The game's Nintendo Switch version launched in June 2018. The game inspired a manga and a novel. Aksys Games released the game in English in October 2018 for the PS4, PS Vita, and Switch.

Spirit Hunter: NG (Volume II) launched on the PlayStation Vita in Japan in September 2018, and shipped for the PS4 in Japan in February. Aksys Games released the game in English on PlayStation 4, Switch, PlayStation Vita, and PC on October 10.
