Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai Collectors Blu-ray in February

MVM has announced that it will release the 13-part series Seishun Buta Yarō wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) as a Collector's Blu-ray on February 17, including a 36-page art book, five art cards and a hardback slipcase.

Sōichi Masui (Sakura Quest, Chaika the Coffin Princess) directed the series at CloverWorks. Masahiro Yokotani (Free!, Re:Zero) was in charge of series composition, and Satomi Tamura (animation director for Kiznaiver, Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend) designed the characters. Tamura was chief animation director with Akira Takata (After the Rain, Natsume's Book of Friends). The series is adapted from Hajime Kamoshida's Seishun Buta Yarō light novel series

In the series, there's a rumor about a mysterious phenomenon call "puberty syndrome." For example, Sakuta Azusagawa is a high school student who suddenly sees a bunny girl appear in front of him. The girl is Mai Sakurajima, Sakuta's upperclassman and also a famous actress who has gone on hiatus from the entertainment industry. For some reason, the people around Mai cannot see her bunny-girl figure. Sakuta sets out to solve this mystery, and as he spends time with Mai, he learns her secret feelings. Other heroines who have "puberty syndrome" start to appear in front of Sakuta.

Kadokawa published the first novel in the series, also titled Seishun Buta Yarō wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai, in April 2014. Keeji Mizoguchi provides the illustrations.

Edit: A previous version of this article inferred that CloverWorks is owned by A-1 Pictures when this is not the case. This has now been corrected.
