Sega announced on Thursday that it will launch its Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 games on Xbox One in early 2020. The games will be available with Xbox Game Pass. Sega began streaming an announcement trailer:

Sega released Yakuza Kiwami 2, a full remake of Yakuza 2, in Japan for PlayStation 4 in December 2017, and in English last August. The PS4 remake uses the "Dragon Engine" that Sega created to develop Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, as well as new characters and new playable scenarios. The game launched for PC via Steam on May 9.

Sega released Yakuza Kiwami, a similar remake of the original Yakuza (Ryū ga Gotoku) game, in Japan for PS3 and PS4 in January 2016. The game then shipped in English for PS4 in August 2017, and launched for PC via Steam in February.

Yakuza 0 (Ryū ga Gotoku 0: Chikai no Basho) shipped in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in 2015. Sega also released a free-to-play PlayStation Vita app in the same year. The game shipped in North America and Europe in January 2017, then launched for PC via Steam in August 2018.

Sega will release Yakuza: Like a Dragon (Ryū ga Gotoku 7: Hikari to Yami no Yukue), the seventh game in Sega's Yakuza series, for PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 16 and in the West in 2020.
