Star ☆ Twinkle Precure Manga Ends in December

Manga based on 16th Precure series launched in February

The January 2020 issue of Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine announced on Saturday that Futago Kamikita's Star ☆ Twinkle Precure manga will end in the magazine's February 2020 issue, which will ship on December 28.

Kamikita launched the manga in February, after ending the Hugtto! Precure manga in December 2018. The first volume of Star ☆ Twinkle Precure shipped on August 9.

Toei Animation's Star ☆ Twinkle Precure anime premiered on February 3. Hiroaki Miyamoto (One Piece Film Gold) is directing the anime and Isao Murayama (Maho Girls Precure!) is organizing the series. Akira Takahashi (Suite Precure, Dokidoki! Precure) is designing the characters. Series regular Ryuutarou Masuda is handling the art design along with Riho Iida. Yuki Hayashi (Hugtto! Precure, My Hero Academia) and Asami Tachibana (Haikyu!!, DARLING in the FRANXX) are composing the music.

Star Twinkle Precure: Hoshi no Uta ni Omoi wo Komete (Star ☆ Twinkle Precure the Movie: Put Your Feelings into the Song of Stars), the anime film for the Star ☆ Twinkle Precure anime series, opened in Japan on October 19.

Toei Animation revealed on Friday that 17th anime in the Precure franchise is Healin' Good Precure. The anime will premiere in spring 2020.
