Announcement trailer streamed for action game bundle

Sega announced on Monday that it will release Platinum Games' Bayonetta and Vanquish games together in a 10th anniversary bundle physically and digitally for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 18. The official YouTube channel for PlayStation began streaming an announcement trailer.

The Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle will have 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. Physical copies will feature a SteelBook with new key art by Dan Dussault.

Platinum Games and Sega released the first Bayonetta action game about a shape-shifting, fighting witch on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan in October 2009, and then in North America in January 2010. Platinum Games and Sega released Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U in October 2014. Sega published Bayonetta for the PC in April 2017, and it released Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 for the Nintendo Switch in February 2018. Bayonetta 3 is in development exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console.

Sega originally released Vanquish for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in October 2010. The company launched the third-person shooter on PC via Steam in May 2017. The PC version has full audio, text, subtitles in six languages, including English and Japanese, all DLC, and upgraded HD graphics with 4K support. Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil) directed the game that has players take on the role of government operative Sam Gideon.
