Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Wednesday that it has added the Lord Marksman and Vanadis and A Place Further Than the Universe anime. The first episode of Lord Marksman and Vanadis is already available, while the first episode of A Place Further Than the Universe will be available on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. GMT +8.

Lord Marksman and Vanadis premiered in October 2014 with 13 episodes.

The titular Vanadis of Tsukasa Kawaguchi's fantasy light novel series are beautiful girls who ride into battle, brandishing weapons received from dragons. There are seven such Vanadis who rule seven territories and instill fear in neighboring countries. A boy named Tigre is a minor noble in the kingdom of Buryūnu who encounters a Vanadis in battle. She is the silver-haired, red-eyed "silver fraulein" Ellen. She defeats him, but instead of killing him, she takes him prisoner.

Tatsuo Sato (Bodacious Space Pirates) directed and oversaw the scripts at Satelight. Yousuke Kabashima (The Girl Who Leapt Through Space) adapted Hinata Katagiri, Nobuhiko Yanai, and Yoshi☆wo's original character designs. Masaru Yokoyama (Freezing Vibration, Queen's Blade series) composed the music. Konomi Suzuki performed the opening theme, “Ginsen no Kaze” (Wind of the Silver Flash), while voice actress Hitomi Harada performed the ending theme, "Schwarzer Bogen" (Black Bow).

Kawaguchi launched the original light novel series in 2011 with art by Yoshi☆wo. Kadokawa published the 18th and final volume in 2017. Nobuhiko Yanai drew a manga adaptation of the novel series in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine from 2011 to 2016, and Kadokawa published 10 volumes for the manga.

A Place Further Than the Universe premiered in January 2018 with 13 episodes.

Crunchyroll co-produced the anime, and it describes the series:

Scenery that we have never seen. Sounds that we have never heard. Scent that we have never smelled. Food that we have never tasted. And the surge of emotion that we have never experienced. This is the expedition of recollecting the pieces torn apart and sensation left alone. When we reach that place, what will we think? Howling, 40 degree angle. Raging, 50 degree angle. Shouting, 60 degree angle. A wilderness beyond the heavy sea. The furthest south, far from civilization. At the top of the Earth. We will find lights through the girls' eyes to live tomorrow.

The project reunited the staff from No Game, No Life: Atsuko Ishizuka directed the series, and Jukki Hanada was in charge of series composition and wrote the script. Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Hunter × Hunter 2011, Trigun) designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Kenji Nakamoto produced, and Madhouse animated the series. Yoshiaki Fujisawa composed the music. saya performed an insert song titled "Uchū wo Miagete" (Look Up at the Universe), and she also performed the opening theme song "The Girls Are Alright!." Voice actresses Inori Minase, Kana Hanazawa, Yuka Iguchi, and Saori Hayami performed the ending theme song "Koko kara, Koko kara" (From Here, From Here) as their characters.
