Seasons 1, 2 of anime series are streaming on Netflix India

Netflix India is listing the Psycho-Pass: The Movie anime film on its streaming service. The anime will stream on the service starting on October 1.

Netflix India describes the story:

In a future Japan, a network of crime-predicting surveillance is poised to be launched worldwide when terrorists infiltrate the system.

The film opened on January 9, 2015 at #4 in the Japanese box office and earned 247.8 million yen (US$2.08 million). The film won several honors at the Newtype Anime Awards 2015.

The Psycho-Pass film is based on the original Psycho-Pass sci-fi television anime series, which premiered in 2012. A second season debuted in 2014. Both seasons are streaming on Netflix India and are available with Japanese and English audio.

Writer Makoto Fukami (Chotto Kawaii Iron Maiden, Ōsama-tachi no Viking) wrote the film's screenplay with Gen Urobuchi. Fukami collaborated with Urobuchi on the first season of Psycho-Pass, but Tow Ubukata handled series composition of the second season.

The third season of the anime debuted in October 2019 and streamed inside and outside of Japan only on Amazon Prime Video. The Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector film debuted on Amazon Prime Video in Japan on March 27.

The franchise also includes the three-film Psycho-Pass SS or Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System project. The first film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.1 Tsumi to Batsu (Crime and Punishment), opened in Japan in January 2019. The second film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.2 First Guardian, opened in Japan in February 2019. The third film, Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System Case.3 Onshū no Kanata ni ____ (In the Realm Beyond Is ____), opened in Japan in March 2019.
