Muse Asia Streams Yurikuma Arashi Anime on YouTube

Episodes stream daily 5:30 p.m. IST

Muse Asia's official YouTube channel started streaming Kunihiko Ikuhara's Yurikuma Arashi anime on Friday. The channel will stream an episode of the anime daily at 5:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside India, Muse Asia is streaming the anime in Bangladesh, Brunei, Bhutan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Muse Asia describes the anime:

After an asteroid explosion and meteor shower lit up the sky over planet earth, strange adorable bears began to attack and devour humans. The earthlings responded with violence of their own, and in the end, a massive barrier—the Wall of Severance—was erected to separate man from bear.

The series premiered in Japan in January 2015.

Kunihiko Ikuhara (Revolutionary Girl Utena, Penguindrum, Sarazanmai) directed the anime at SILVER LINK. Ikuhara also co-wrote the scripts with Takayo Ikami. Akiko Morishima drew the original character design concepts, and Etsuko Sumimoto drew the character designs for animation. Yukari Hashimoto composed the music.

Morishima also launched the manga version of the story in Gentosha Comics' Monthly Comic Birz magazine in February 2014.
