Complete set with new English dub ships on December 15

Aniplex of America announced on Saturday that it will release Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace note, the anime of Makoto Sanda's Lord El-Melloi II-sei no Jikenbo (The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II) mystery novel spinoff series for Type-Moon's Fate franchise, in a Blu-ray Disc box set on December 15. The Blu-ray release features a new English dub as well as the original Japanese audio for all 14 episodes.

The Japanese and English casts are:

Erica Mendez wrote the ADR scripts, and Christian La Monte served as the english ADR Director.

The box set also includes textless opening and ending, PV collections, web previews, a special booklet, and packaging with cover art illustrated by Jun Nakai.

Aniplex of America describes the series:

Years after the Fourth Holy Grail War of Fate/Zero, Waver Velvet—the boy who fought alongside Iskandar, the King of Conquerors—has assumed the title Lord El Melloi II. In this position, he takes on myriad magical and mystical mysteries for the Clock Tower, the mecca of the magecraft world.

Based on the popular novel by Makoto Sanda, this incredible story has finally been adapted into an animated title. This series sees the beloved “Rail Zeppelin” arc brought to life, along with original episodes to lead into this exciting story.

Prepare yourself! This epic adventure is about to leave the station!

The anime premiered in Japan in July 2019. Crunchyroll will streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Funimation also streamed the anime. Anime Expo screened the U.S. premiere of the first two episodes in July 2019.

Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-, Bloom Into You) directed the series at TROYCA. Ukyō Kodachi (Chaos Dragon, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) was in charge of series composition. Jun Nakai (GATE, Silver Spoon) designed the characters. Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero director) was credited as supervisor. Yuki Kajiura composed and arranged the show's opening theme song "starting the case: Rail Zeppelin." Kajiura also composed, arranged, and wrote the lyrics for ASCA's ending theme song "Kōtenshi."

"Episode 0" of the anime premiered during a television special in December 2018. Crunchyroll is streaming the episode in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

The novels center on the titular character Lord El-Melloi II — the adult Waver Velvet from Fate/Zero, and successor of Kayneth — as well as Lord El-Melloi II's apprentice Gray. The story takes place in the Clock Tower, the Mage's Association's headquarters in England. There, Lord El-Melloi II and Gray solve various mysteries of a magical nature surrounding the Mage's Association.
