Pioneer Films Opens Saekano Film in the Philippines on November 27

Philippine film distributor Pioneer Films announced on Monday that its Philippine screening of Saenai Heroine no Sodate-kata fine, the anime film based on Fumiaki Maruto's Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend light novel series, will open on November 27.
The film opened in Japan last October on 121 screens, and ranked at #5 in Japan and earned 136,362,600 yen (about US$1.25 million) in its debut weekend. The film earned a cumulative total of 667,463,980 yen (about US$6.14 million).
Kanta Kamei served as chief director at CloverWorks, and Akihisa Shibata (episode director for the two previous seasons) was the director. Fumiaki Maruto returned to write the script, and Tomoaki Takase returned to design the characters. Aniplex is distributing the film.
