Crunchyroll Launching Movie Programme in U.K and Ireland

Feature films will be screened for one month, starting with Penguin Highway; later titles in year-long programme include Promare, Fireworks, your name.

Crunchyroll has announced that from May 1, it will be launching a "Crunchyroll Movie Night at Home" in the UK and Ireland, streaming a different anime film for a month over the next twelve months. The films will replace each other on the 1st of the month.

The films are

From May 1 - Penguin Highway, pictured right, directed by Hiroyasu Ishida

From June 1 - Patema Inverted, directed by Yasuhiro Yoshiura

From July 1 - The Relative Worlds, directed by Yūhei Sakuragi

From August 1 - Promare, pictured left, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi

From September 1 - Giovanni's Island, directed by Mizuho Nishikubo

From October 1 - Mai Mai Miracle, pictured right, directed by Sunao Katabuchi

From November 1 - Fireworks, directed by Nobuyuki Takeuchi

From December 1 - Tokyo Marble Chocolate, directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani

From January 1, 2022 - 5 Centimeters Per Second, directed by Makoto Shinkai

From February 1, 2022 - your name., directed by Makoto Shinkai

From March 1, 2022 - Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below, directed by Makoto Shinkai

From April 1, 2022 - The Place Promised in Our Early Days, directed by Makoto Shinkai
