Tokyo Revengers Manga Tops 40 Million in Circulation

Kodansha confirmed on Sunday that Ken Wakui's Tokyo Revengers manga has more than 40 million copies in circulation. The manga has eight times more copies in circulation compared to a year ago.
The manga had 5 million copies in circulation in September 2020, about 8 million copies in February 2020, about 10 million copies at the end of March 2021, over 14.5 million copies in May 2021, more than 25 million copies in June 2021, and more than 32 million copies in circulation in July 2021.
Wakui launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017, and Kodansha published the manga's 24th compiled book volume on September 17.

A television anime adaptation debuted on the MBS channel on April 10. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan. Warner Bros. Japan produced a live-action film of the manga, which opened on July 9.
Update: The numbers above are not sales statistics. The manga has released 30 million more copies since the anime premiered in April, but all 30 million copies have not yet sold.
