LiSA Is 1st Japanese Female Solo Artist to Stream Song Over 300 Million Times

LiSA also debuts 5th #1 digital single with Sword Art Online Progressive theme "Yuke"

LiSA's recent single "Homura," the theme song for the Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime film, has been streamed 300,139,425 times — thus making her the first female solo artist on the Oricon streaming ranking chart to have a song streamed over 300 million times.

The "Homura" single debuted digitally on October 12 of last year before physical copies shipped on October 14, and it ranked at #1 on Oricon's weekly streaming ranking chart for seven consecutive weeks. The song has not yet fallen off the ranking's top 100 in all 53 weeks since its release last year. It was #39 on the most recent weekly chart with 2,201,752 streams.

In addition, LiSA's newest single "Yuke," the theme song for the Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night anime film, debuted at #1 on Oricon's weekly digital single ranking with 17,963 downloads in three days — making it her fifth single to debut at #1 on the chart. She is now tied with Hikaru Utada and back number for #4 on the list of artists with the most singles to rank #1 on Oricon's download chart. LiSA also ties Utada's record as the female solo artist with the most singles to rank #1 on Oricon's download chart.
