posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
World’s End Harem anime also licensed

Muse Asia announced on Tuesday and Wednesday that it has licensed the She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man, Sabikui Bisco, and World’s End Harem anime.

She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man adapts Hirotsugu Ryusen's Kenja no Deshi o Nanoru Kenja light novel series. The anime will premiere on January 11. Muse Asia's simulcast will premiere on January 11 at 11:30 p.m. GMT +8.

Nichika Omori will star in the show as the disciple Mira. Keitaro Motonaga (Jormungand both seasons, Date A Live first three seasons) is directing the anime at Studio A-Cat. Takamitsu Kouno (Utawarerumono: The False Faces, Absolute Duo) is overseeing the series scripts, Kumi Horii (LBX Girls, Infinite Stratos 2) is designing the characters, Go Sakabe (Date A Live franchise, Digimon Adventure tri. film series) is composing the music, and Yasunori Ebina is the sound director.

Seven Seas is releasing both the light novel and the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Sakamori Kagami was one of the top players in the VRMMO Ark Earth Online as Danblf, a veteran summoner with the gravitas to match his elite status. When he falls asleep playing one day, he's transported to a world where the game is reality—but instead of his all-powerful avatar, he's stuck in the body of a cute young girl! He can't let anyone know that this little cutie is really Danblf, so he takes the name “Mira” and claims to be Danblf's disciple. If this gets out, he'll never live it down!

Sabikui Bisco adapts the light novel series of the same name by Shinji Cobkubo (Kobukubo). The anime will premiere on January 10. Muse Asia's simulcast will premiere on January 10 at 11:35 p.m. GMT +8.

The story is set in Japan after a "Rusting Wind" has coroded everything. People live in fear of the rust that corrodes cities and life in general. A boy named Bisco Akaboshi from the despised Mushroom Guardian tribe embarks on a journey to obtain the "Rust-Eating" mushroom — a miracle drug that purifies all rust — to save his dying teacher.

During his journey, Bisco encounters Miro Nekoyanagi, a good-looking young doctor at Imihama, and together they search for a countermeasure against the rust consuming Miro's beloved big sister.

Atsushi Ikariya is directing the anime at OZ with assistant director Daisuke Mataga. Sadayuki Murai is supervising and writing the series scripts. Ai Asari and Ikariya are designing the characters, and Asari and Norie Igawa are serving as chief animation directors. Yi Hui Zhang is also serving as animation director. Takeshi Ueda (AA=) and Hinako Tsubakiyama are composing the music.

World’s End Harem is based on Kotaro Shono's Shūmatsu no Harem manga. The anime was previously slated to premiere on October 8, but it instead only aired the first episode as an "advance screening," with the rest of the show delayed to January due to a need to "closely examine" the anime's production. The anime will now premiere on January 7. Muse Asia's simulcast will premiere on January 8.

Yuu Nobuta (High School Fleet, Maesetsu! Opening Act, Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tatsuya Takahashi (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Domestic Girlfriend, Val x Love) is in charge of the series scripts. Masaru Koseki (Happiness!, Demon King Daimao) is designing the characters. Shigenobu Ookawa (Tayutama - Kiss on My Deity, Miss Monochrome) is composing the music. Singer H-el-ical// is performing the opening theme song "Just Do It" while singer EXiNA is performing the ending theme song "Ending Mirage."

Seven Seas' Ghost Ship imprint is publishing the original manga in North America, and it describes the story:

The Man-Killer Virus: a lethal disease that has eradicated 99.9% of the world's male population. Mizuhara Reito has been in cryogenic sleep for the past five years, leaving behind Tachibana Erisa, the girl of his dreams. When Reito awakens from the deep freeze, he emerges into a sex-crazed new world where he himself is the planet's most precious resource. Reito and four other male studs are given lives of luxury and one simple mission: repopulate the world by impregnating as many women as possible! All Reito wants, however, is to find his beloved Erisa who went missing three years ago. Can Reito resist temptation and find his one true love?
