Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel began streaming the Gloomy the Naughty Grizzly (Itazura Guma no Gloomy) television anime based on Chack Mori's Gloomy Bear character on Friday at 1:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside Hong Kong and India, the channel will stream the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Guam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Northern Mariana Island, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Island, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in several regions and describes its story:

GLOOMY is Pity's pet bear. He's a little over 6 feet and weighs as much as 2000 pomegranates. He's well trained for the most part, but he can never remember that he's not supposed to attack humans. Still, a pet owner must take ultimate responsibility for his pets. Recalling warm memories of GLOOMY as a cute bear cub, Pity tries to lead a life of peaceful co-existence with his pet bear.

The Gloomy the Naughty Grizzly anime premiered on Tokyo MX in April 2021.

Takehiro Kubota (assistant director for ID: INVADED) directed the anime. Original creator Chack Mori served as animation director and series script supervisor. Megu Yagi and Aimi Morodome were the scriptwriters, Kunihiko Mita and Yumiko Abe were the 3D CGI directors, Hitomi Satō was the art director, and Shōta Yoshida and Toshikazu Kuno were the directors of photography.

Kōichi Yamadera voices Gloomy in the series. Natsuki Hanae plays Gloomy's owner Pity.
