Second Girls und Panzer das Finale Blu-ray Released Monday (Updated)

Update - In an earlier version of this story, it was wrongly claimed that Seraph of the End is being released by Funimation. In fact, it is being released by Anime Limited. Many apologies for the mistake.

On Monday May 16, MVM will release Girls und Panzer das Finale Part 2 on Blu-ray. This is the second of a series of films which will finish the Girls und Panzer franchise. (The Girls und Panzer das Finale series is planned to have six films in total, with three films released in Japan so far.) The Blu-ray also includes the OVA episode, "Taiyaki War." MVM describes the release:

"After falling for BC Freedom High's clever deception, the Oarai Girl's High tank-maidens find themselves faced with an entirely different battlefront than expected. However, Yukari suspects that any bluff that could have been carried out so easily by so many people must have some basis in fact. So, as the other school teams prepare for combat across the competition, Oarai digs down with a plan to undermine the groundwork beneath their opposition. Too much digging is dangerous, though, and the girls are next troubled to discover that the foundations of Momo's personal life are equally unstable."

Anime Limited will release a Collectors Edition Blu-ray carrying both seasons of Wit Studio's series Seraph of the End (the first season is called Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign and the second is called Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya). The set will also include a 64-page booklet with artwork from the series.

Funimation describes the title:

"A virus has ravaged the Earth, killing all but the youngest members of society and vampires have arisen from the darkness to make all of humanity their slaves. Into this dark world comes 16 year-old Yuichiro, who escapes the vampires clutches and joins the Moon Demon Company, an elite extermination unit of the Japanese Imperial Army, who use demon possessed weapons to drive back the vampire horde."

The series is based on a manga by novelist Takaya Kagami (The Legend of the Legendary Heroes, A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives), manga creator Daisuke Furuya, and manga artist Yamato Yamamoto. Hiroyuki Sawano (Aldnoah.Zero, Attack on Titan, Blue Exorcist, Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings, The Seven Deadly Sins) produced and co-composed the music with Takafumi Wada, Asami Tachibana, and Megumi Shiraishi. Sawano also produced the opening and ending themes.

Daisuke Tokudo directed the series off of scripts by Hiroshi Seko.

Funimation will also release That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season Two Part One on Blu-ray. Funimation describes the title:

"Taking a break from his time as a teacher, the powerful slime Rimuru Tempest returns to his kingdom. When trying to return, Rimuru is stopped by a mysterious figure who is somehow able to constrain Rimuru's magical abilities."

Funimation will also release One Piece Collection 26 on Blu-ray, containing episodes 615 to 641.
