Hinamatsuri Blu-ray, Air and Venus Versus Virus DVDs Released on Monday

On Monday May 30, Funimation will release the 2018 TV series Hinamatsuri in Limited and standard Blu-ray editions. The Limited edition will include six art cards and a 32-page art book.

Crunchyroll has previously described the story:

"Nitta Yoshifumi, a young, intellectual yakuza, lived surrounded by his beloved pots in his turf in Ashigawa. But one day, a girl, Hina, arrives in a strange object, and uses her telekinetic powers to force Nitta to allow her to live with him, putting an end to his leisurely lifestyle. Hina tends to lose control of herself, wreaking havoc both at school and in Nitta's organization. Though troubled, he finds himself taking care of her. What will become of this strange arrangement?"

Kei Oikawa (Outbreak Company, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!, This Art Club Has a Problem!) directed the series at studio feel., and Keiichirō Ōchi (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!, Outbreak Company, La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky) wrote and oversaw the scripts. Katsura Matsubara was the assistant director, and Kanetoshi Kamimoto (Dagashi Kashi, Burst Angel) was the chief animation director and character designer. Yasuhiro Misawa (Kokoro Connect, Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, Himouto! Umaruchan) composed the music at Nippon Columbia.

MVM will release the 2005 Kyoto Animation series Air on DVD. As well as the TV series, the DVD also includes the two-part OVA Air in Summer.

Based on the 2000 Visual Novel by Key, the series begins with the male protagonist Yukito Kunisaki on a journey, seeking a girl with wings who flies in the sky, as mentioned in a childhood tale. During this journey, he settles down in a small town, trying to make some money. There, he meets a strange girl named Misuzu. Misuzu quickly makes Yukito her friend and invites him to stay with her. Yukito decides to stay in the small town, and continue searching for the winged girl his mother had searched for in her life.

MVM will also release the 2007 series Venus Versus Virus on DVD. It revolves around the life of a young girl named Sumire Takahana who has had the power to see ghosts since she was a small child, though no one believes her. One night while running to her dorm building to make curfew, she pricks her finger on a brooch and sees a demon. Suddenly, another girl in gothic lolita clothing arrives, bearing a huge gun and kills the demon. This is Lucia Nabashi, who wants Sumire to help her rid the world of these demons called Virus that threaten to consume all humanity.

Anime Limited will release a standard Blu-ray edition of Kenji Iwaisawa's 2019 music-band comedy film On-Gaku

Anime Limited will also release a standard Blu-ray of Sunrise's 2004 TV series My-Hime.
