Also, MVM says there is possibility of Collector's Editions for all of these titles

MVM has Tweeted that it will release new Blu-ray editions of four Gonzo TV series from the 2000s: Burst Angel, Samurai 7, Trinity Blood and Witchblade later in 2022, with possible Collector's Editions for all of them.

Burst Angel is a 2004 TV series animated by Gonzo. The series is set in a crime-ridden future Japan, where Kyohei Tachibana is a peaceful student at a culinary school, dreaming of going to France for advanced study as a patissier. To afford the trip, he accepts a part-time job as private cook to a strange group of women - Sei, Meg, Jo and Amy. To Kyohei's astonishment, they turn out to be a band of violent mercenaries, and he finds himself in the line of fire.

Samurai 7 was similarly animated by Gonzo and broadcast in 2004. The series is a science-fiction version of Akira Kurosawa's classic live-action film The Seven Samurai. A small village is being persecuted by robbers who return every harvest to seize the village's crops. Faced with starvation, the villagers send out a mission to find and recruit some samurai to defend them. With no pay to offer except rice, and knowing full well that only down-on-their-luck samurai would even consider accepting such an deal, the villagers can only hope that their saviours will appear before the rice is ready for harvest.

Trinity Blood was a Gonzo TV series broadcast in 2005, set in the distant future. The war between the vampires and the humans continues. A priest called Peter Abel Nightroad, travels through the countries as a representative for the Vaticans. However, he is also part of "Ax", a special operations group controlled by the Cardinal Catherina. His encounter with a young girl called Esther will determine the struggle between the human race and the vampires.

The Gonzo series Witchblade was broadcast in 2006. In 22nd-Century Japan, Masane Amaha, one of the surviving catastrophe that destroyed Tokyo becomes the latest in an ancient line of women-only warriors to wield the mysterious sentient weapon known only throughout history as "the Witchblade". Protecting her little girl, she will face her worst fear.
