Muse India began streaming the first season of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime and the first season of the One-Punch Man anime on Sunday.

Muse Asia began streaming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime in July 2020 and began streaming its second season on July 1. Netflix began streaming the television anime of Shiba's spinoff manga The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura Nikki Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) on December 28.

The television anime of author Fuse and artist Mitz Vah's That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken or Regarding Reincarnated to Slime) light novel series premiered in October 2018.

Yasuhito Kikuchi (Infinite Stratos, Macross Frontier, Busou Shinki) directed the anime at 8-Bit, with Atsushi Nakayama (Absolute Duo) as assistant director. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Girls' Last Tour, Recovery of an MMO Junkie) was in charge of series composition. Ryōma Ebata (Busou Shinki, Magical Warfare) adapted the character designs for animation. Takahiro Kishida (Spring and Chaos, Serial Experiments Lain, Knight's & Magic) was in charge of monster design. Elements Garden composed the music.

Muse Asia previously streamed One-Punch Man from July to September 2020 and then again in October 2020. The company streamed a marathon of the anime on December 24. Netflix is also streaming the anime in India.

Madhouse and director Shingo Natsume's first 12-episode anime season aired in Japan from October-December 2015. Chikara Sakurai (Magimoji Rurumo, episode director for Naruto Shippūden) replaced Shingo Natsume to direct the second season at J.C. Staff (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Children of the Whales). Yoshikazu Iwanami (Girls und Panzer, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) replaced Shōji Hata as sound director. Chikashi Kubota (Corpse Princess: Aka, FLCL 2) returned to design the characters, and Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) was in charge of series composition for both seasons. Makoto Miyazaki (Triage X, Dragon Crisis!) also returned to compose the music.

The second season of the anime premiered in April 2019.
