Chennai's Spark Anime Festival Announces Schedule

Pop Circuit announced the schedule for its Spark Anime Festival event on Facebook on Saturday. The event is taking place from July 2-24 at VR Mall, Chennai.
The event will host screenings of the 4K remaster of the Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama (Ramayana - Rama Ouji Densetsu) anime film on July 23 and July 24 at 3:00 p.m. IST. It will host a cosplay parade, cosplay workshop, onitama and chess event, an anime quiz, and several other events on July 17, July 23, and July 24.
The festival hosted a screening of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film on July 2. The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film opened in India on June 30. The film earned ₹5.4 crore (approximately US$681,039) in its first weekend in Indian theaters.
The 4K remaster of the Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama (Ramayana - Rama Ouji Densetsu) anime film launched this year, which is the 70th anniversary year of India-Japan diplomatic relations. The anime film premiered in 1992, the 40th anniversary year of India-Japan diplomatic relations.
