posted on by Adriana Hazra
Channel also streams Tada Never Falls in Love, Asobi Asobase anime

The Muse India YouTube channel began streaming the television anime of Shiro Manta's My Senpai Is Annoying (Senpai ga Uzai Kōhai no Hanashi) manga on May 11, the Tada Never Falls In Love (Tada-kun wa Koi o Shinai) anime on April 28, and the television anime of Rin Suzukawa's Asobi Asobase (Play and Let Play) manga on April 27. The channel is currently streaming all the episodes of both the anime seasons.

My Senpai Is Annoying premiered in Japan on October 9.

Ryota Itoh (episode director for Sing "Yesterday" for Me, Ping Pong, Aikatsu Stars!) directed the anime at Doga Kobo (Sing "Yesterday" for Me, Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater). Yoshimi Narita (Beet the Vandel Buster, I★CHU: Halfway Through The Idol) oversaw the series scripts, Shigemitsu Abe (Killing Bites) was the character designer, Takeshi Takadera (Yowamushi Pedal, RIN-NE) was the sound director, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Dr. Stone, Children of the Whales) composed the music.

Seven Seas is publishing the full-color manga in English, and it describes the story:

Igarashi is a hardworking young office lady. Takeda, the senpai above her at work, annoys her constantly--and yet she finds herself growing closer to him. Every day is filled with comic mishaps and romantic moments as Igarashi tries to balance work, life, and love. This full-color manga--which started its life as a webcomic--is sure to charm audiences of workplace comedies like Aggretsuko and The Office!

Manta launched the manga in 2017, and the manga serializes on the pixiv Comic website under the comic Pool web magazine banner. The series won the web manga division of the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards in 2018. Ichijinsha published the manga's ninth compiled book volume on May 25. The series has 1 million copies in circulation.

Tada Never Falls In Love premiered in Japan in April 2018.

In the anime's original story, Mitsuyoshi Tada, a boy who has never known love, is taking pictures of the cherry blossoms in full bloom when he meets Teresa Wagner, a transfer student from Larsenbourg. Upon arriving in Japan, she got lost, separated from her travel companion. Mitsuyoshi helps her and brings her to his grandfather's coffee shop.

Many of the main staff members from Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun returned for the anime. Mitsue Yamazaki (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Magic-kyun! Renaissance) directed at Doga Kobo (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru). Yoshiko Nakamura (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Super Lovers) was in charge of the series scripts, and Junichiro Taniguchi (Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru) served as character designer and chief animation director. Assistant director Yoshiyuki Fujiwara and sub character designer Ai Kikuchi are both veterans of New Game! and Engaged to the Unidentified.

Masayoshi Ōishi (Overlord, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun) performed the opening theme song "Otomodachi Film" and Manaka Iwami performed the ending theme song "Love Song" as her character Teresa Wagner.

Asobi Asobase premiered in July 2018.

Seiji Kishi (Persona 4: The Animation, Danganronpa The Animation, Tsukigakirei) directed the anime at Lerche, with Yū Kinome (School-Live, Scum's Wish episode director) as assistant director. Yuuko Kakihara (Persona 4: The Animation, Chihayafuru 2, Tsukigakirei) was in charge of series scripts. Keiko Kurosawa (Re:␣Hamatora, Scum's Wish, Konohana Kitan) designed the characters. KUSANAGI (Non Non Biyori, Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW, Princess Principal) drew the backgrounds. Morita Editing Room handled the editing. Satoki Iida (Angel Beats!, Persona 4: The Animation, Tsukigakirei) was the sound director, and Masato Kōda (Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Ars Nova, KonoSuba, Knight's & Magic) composed the music. Yūji Higa (Magical Girl Raising Project, Scum's Wish, Konohana Kitan) was the animation producer.

The "surreal gag" comedy manga revolves around three classmates who play traditional hand games, board games, and card games. Kasumi is smart, serious, and is good at games, but hates them because she always lost to her older sister and was forced to do chores while growing up. She is also extremely bad at English. Olivia is a beautiful girl of American descent, but was raised in Japan, and she only pretends to be bad at Japanese. Hanako is a girl who wears her hair in pigtails and has a bright personality, but still can't manage to become the kind of normal person she wants to be.
