Muse Asia announced on Facebook on Sunday that it will begin streaming Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, the television anime of writer Midori Yūma and illustrator Laruha's Kakuriyo Yadomeshi (Afterlife Inn Cooking) light novel series, on YouTube on July 25. Episodes of the anime will stream daily at 5:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside India, the anime will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Muse Asia described the anime:

Aoi Tsubaki is suddenly swept away to the hidden realm when a handsome ogre lord comes to take her as his wife! He claims that she must pay back her grandfather's debt, but Aoi's not willing to give her hand over so easily. Instead, she makes a deal to work at the Tenjin-ya, a bed and breakfast for ayakashi, to pay back what her family owes. As she wins the spirits over one dish at a time, Aoi will find much more than a job in this hidden realm.

The anime premiered in April 2018, and has a total of 26 episodes.

Yoshiko Okuda (animation director for The Perfect Insider, Casshern Sins) directed the anime at GONZO. Tomoko Konparu (Utano☆Princesama Legend Star, Kimi ni Todoke) was in charge of series composition, and Youko Satou (Saiyuki Reload Blast, Dog & Scissors) designed the characters. Takurō Iga (Fuuka, Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA) composed the music, and Flying Dog handled the music production. Nao Tōyama performed the first opening theme song "Tō no Manimani," and Manami Numakura performed the first ending theme song "Sai -color-."

Yūma launched the novel series in Kadokawa's Fujimi L Bunko imprint in 2015, and Kadokawa published the 12th volume on March 15.

Wako Ioka is drawing a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's B's-LOG COMIC magazine and website, and the manga's eighth volume shipped on April 1. Viz Media has licensed the manga and shipped the seventh volume on January 4.
