Muse Asia Simulcasts Beast Tamer Anime, Muv-Luv Alternative Season 2

Beast Tamer debuts on October 2 at 7:30 p.m. IST, season 2 of Muv-Luv Alternative on October 5 at 10:55 p.m. IST

Muse Asia announced on Facebook on Wednesday that it will begin streaming Beast Tamer, the television anime of Suzu Miyama and Hotosouka's Yūsha Party wo Tsuihou Sareta Beast Tamer, Saikyōshu no Nekomimi Shōjo to Deau (The Beast Tamer Who Was Exiled from His Party Meets a Cat Girl From the Strongest Race) novels, on October 2 at 7:30 p.m. IST. Additionally, Muse Asia will stream the second season of the Muv-Luv Alternative anime on October 5 at 10:55 p.m. IST.

Alongside India, both anime will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Pakistan.

Beast Tamer will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX on October 2, on Yomiuri TV and TV Aichi on October 3, on BS Fuji on October 4, and on AT-X and other channels on as-yet unannounced dates. AbemaTV will begin streaming the anime on October 1.

The story follows beast tamer Rein, who is Banished from the Hero's Party, because he can only use animals. He becomes an adventurer and meets a cat girl, who is part of the strongest species.

Atsushi Nigorikawa (A Destructive God Sits Next to Me) is directing the anime at EMT Squared. Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) is handling the series scripts. Shuuhei YAMAMOTO (Between the Sky and Sea) is designing the characters. Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia), Arisa Okehazama (Jujutsu Kaisen), and Naoyuki Chikatani are composing the music.

MADKID performs the opening song "Change The World," while Marika Kōno performs the ending song "LOVE&MOON."

Miyama launched the novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's Be Novelists) website in June 2018. Moto Shigemura's manga adaptation debuted on Square Enix's Manga UP! app in January 2019.

The second season of the Muv-Luv Alternative anime will premiere on October 5 on Fuji TV's [+Ultra] programming block.

The anime's first season premiered in October 2021 on Fuji TV's [+Ultra] programming block. Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired.

The story is about humans who wage a long battle against the extraterrestrial species BETA, with humanoid weapons known as Tactical Surface Fighters.

Yukio Nishimoto (Animal Yokocho, The Galaxy Railways, Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION 2) directed the anime at Flagship Line and Yumeta Company x Graphinica. Tatsuhiko Urahata (Baki, GATE, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Sakura Wars the Animation) was in charge of the series scripts, and Takuya Tani (Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles, One Room, Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn) designed the characters. Evan Call (Schwarzes Marken, Violet Evergarden) composed the music.

After creating Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts), adult game brand âge released the first Muv-Luv title in 2003, followed by Muv-Luv Alternative in 2006. The Muv-Luv franchise has since sold more than 500,000 games, as well as more than 3 million figures, models, and other hobby releases.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, a light novel spinoff of the franchise, inspired a manga and a television anime of the same name. Its prequel, Schwarzes Marken, also inspired an anime. âge's Kimi ga Nozomu Eien inspired a television anime that Funimation released under the title Rumbling Hearts.
