Oha Suta TV Show's Identity V Game-Playing Segment Gets Short Anime

Oha Suta Daigo Gakuen (Good Morning Studio: V Academy), the segment in the children's variety show Oha Suta in which the hosts play the Identity V video game, is inspiring a four-episode short anime that will premiere at the end of November.
In the regular live-action Daigo Gakuen segment, voice actor Subaru Kimura (who goes by the nickname Suba-nii on the show to reflect his older, mentor-like personality towards the children) and "Oha Kids" cast members try out the latest modes of NetEase Games' survival horror game Identity V. The second season of this video game segment will start on September 8.
The short anime version of Daigo Gakuen will depict the daily school life of Identity V's gardener character Emma (voiced in Japanese by Chiwa Saitō) and other survivors as students — with the game's Jack or The Ripper character as their teacher.
Like the live-action Daigo Gakuen segment, the short anime wil play within the Oha Suta program, which airs on the TV Tokyo channel and its affiliates every weekday at 7:05 a.m.
NetEase Games launched the Identity V game on smartphones in China in April 2018, and then rolled out the game worldwide (including in Japan) in July 2018. In the game, four players assume the role of survivors against another player as a hunter. The game has a worldwide userbase of over 400 million.
