Toworu Miyata's Aoharu Once More BL Manga Gets Light Anime

IMAGICA Infos' new boys-love label BALLOON announced on Thursday that it is producing a light anime adaptation of Toworu Miyata's Aoharu Once More boys' love manga.
Rikako Machida (Saved by the Ice Cold Prince's Embrace series composition) is directing the anime at IMAGICA Infos / Imageworks Studio. Morrigan (WAVE) is composing the music. Kazuya Takahashi is credited for production supervision.
Tokyopop licensed the manga and will release it in English. Tokyopop describes the manga:

ShuCream released the manga's first compiled book volume in June 2025.
Animate International is releasing Miyata's Living With Him, Delivery Hug Therapy, and 100dB Pouring into You manga in English. Living With Him inspired a live-action series adaptation in April 2024.
Aoharu Once More is the third project in the new boys-love label BALLOON, which launched with Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), CYBIRD, and BLUE RIGHTS last year.
The first project was the light anime adaptation of Tenma Asahi's Saioshi no Gikei o Mederu Tame, Nagaikishimasu! (In Order to Love My Most Beloved Brother-In-Law, I'll Live a Long Life!) light novel series. The light anime premiered on January 3. OceanVeil began streaming the anime under the title I’ll Live a Long Life to Dote on My Favorite Stepbrother! on January 6.
The second project is the light anime adaptation of Kaoruko Miyama's Perfect Addiction boys-love manga, which debuted on July 8. OceanVeil streamed the anime.
DNP spearheaded the concept of "light anime" to create animation at a lower cost on a more "timely" schedule compared to the traditional animation production workflow. The BALLOON label aims to produce four new titles in the 2026 fiscal year, with a goal of establishing a workflow capable of producing 10 or more projects a year by 2028.
