HARUHI MYSPACE BLOG RATED AMONG TOP 50 MY SPACE USER PAGES; ASOS BRIGADE WEBSITE GENERATES HUDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF VIEWS
December 23, 2006 (Cypress, Ca) – Ending a week of speculation, Kadokawa Pictures USA and Bandai Entertainment, INC. announced that the anime series phenomenon “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” will be released in North America by Kadokawa Pictures USA and distributed by Bandai Entertainment, INC.
The announcement was made at www.asosbrigade.com . Literally tens of thousands of people came to ASOS Brigade.com at midnight on 12/22 and by the time the dust had settled hundreds of thousands of requests were generated to the webserver overnight. “We're happy the word is out and so many users have visited the ASOS Brigade site and Myspace. As some of you might have noted, the ASOS Brigade accidentally launched the rough cut of their announcement video, but I'm told there will be more from the ASOS Brigade in the near future,” noted Robert Napton of Bandai Entertainment.
Following the announcement, a Myspace page was launched, and in less than 24 hours, the page has ranked among the top 50 viewed pages on Myspace.
Look for more information on “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” in coming weeks from Kadokawa Pictures USA and Bandai Entertainment, INC.
