The File of Young Kindaichi to air on Animax

Singapore, 1 September 2014 – Kick off the September school holidays with everyone's favourite high school detective, Kindaichi on Animax, Asia's first channel dedicated to anime programming.

The File of Young Kindaichi is based off the original manga by Seimaru Amagi and Fumiya Sato. Dubbed as one of the greatest and most iconic detective anime of our time, the series have been adapted into animated and live action films, for both television and the silver screen.

The classic anime series features a collection of whodunit murder cases, often with a supernatural tinge. It follows a seemingly regular high school student Hajime Kindaichi, the grandson of a renowned private detective, who puts his genetic intelligence, an IQ of 180 to use at numerous crime cases, solving seemingly impossible mysteries.

Intellectually stimulating and highly engaging, viewers can follow the leads and clues that are subtly weaved into the plot, and attempt to solve the mysteries before Kindaichi does.

Relive the classic anime series and unlock the mysteries case by case with Kindaichi exclusively on Animax this September!

The File of Young Kindaichi premieres on 2 September, airing on Monday to Wednesday at 11.30pm (SG, MY, HK, PH, TW) / 10.30pm (JKT, BKK), exclusively on Animax.
