IRVINE, CA – OCT 1. Bluefin Distribution announces the immediate appointment of John Parker as President, reporting directly under CEO and Owner, Steve Fujimura. Parker will be responsible for sales & marketing, new product & client development, budgeting, and will also oversee the 2015 move to an expanded distribution and office facility in Southern California.
Parker was the Vice President of Business Development for Diamond Comic Distributors, the central distributor for the English language comic book industry, where he established the creation of programs for the distribution of pop culture toys and collectibles. Parker previously spent 12 years as the President of manga pioneer, TOKYOPOP, and has worked in Japan for over 20 years.
