Aniplex of America Announces Details on NISEKOI Blu-ray Volumes 3 & 4

Will Raku Find the Girl who Holds the Key to his Locket and Heart in this Romantic-Comedy Finale?

SANTA MONICA, CA (January 16, 2015) –Fans of the highly popular romantic comedy series, NISEKOI were excited to hear Aniplex of America's announcement at OTAKON Vegas detailing their upcoming release of Volumes 3 and 4 of the Blu-ray. These volumes will feature the latter half of the fan-favorite anime adaptation produced by studio SHAFT (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, The Monogatari Series). Aniplex of America confirmed that Volume 3 will be released on March 31st and Volume 4 will be released on May 26th. Pre-orders for both SKUs can be made through their official website (www.NisekoiUSA.com) and official retailers starting January 16th.

The NISEKOI Blu-ray: Volume 3 will feature episodes 11-15 with the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. This volume's bonuses will include the clean ending sequence with all the characters shown, and the clean version of Marika's ending sequence. Bonus materials will include the ending card pin-ups, a deluxe poster, and a collectible Weiss Schwarz promotional card by Bushiroad (while supplies last). The slip-case will feature art by the Character Designer and Chief Animation Director, Nobuhiro Sugiyama.

Volume 4 will include the final 5 episodes (16-20) of the series. Bonus contents exclusive to this volume will be the textless second opening sequence, textless Heroines Version ending, and textless Chitoge and Kosaki Version ending. The final volume will also include a deluxe poster, collectible ending card pin-ups and a Weiss Schwarz exclusive PR card from Bushiroad while supplies last.

“The girl I made that promise with ten years ago...Was it you?”...On their way home from buying Chitoge's birthday present, Kosaki shares her secret scenic overlook with Raku. In the heat of the moment, Raku asks Kosaki the one question that he's been meaning to ask. Kosaki answers by nodding yes. “Have you ever heard the phrase 'Zawsze in love?'”After her birthday party, Chitoge confesses to Raku that she too owns a key. Raku is shocked when Chitoge mentions a very familiar phrase. 2 girls...2 keys...Which one could it be?! Raku finds the one photo he took with her ten years ago, but the girl in the photo is neither Kosaki nor Chitoge. She was Raku's fiancée chosen by their parents. “I've missed you all this time!”Just when things couldn't get any more complicated, a girl named Marika, who claims to be Raku's true fiancée, transfers to his school adding 1 more key to the puzzle. Will Raku ever be able to find the one girl? Which girl holds the key to Raku's locket and to his heart? What will happen to this false [NISE ] love [KOI]?!

NISEKOI Vol. 4 Story
The season is summer—a time for unforgettable memories. At Kosaki's request, Raku helps out at her family's shop. Everything was going smoothly until a seasonal typhoon hits the town rendering it impossible for Raku to go home! Now, Raku must spend the night there while Kosaki's parents are out. At the summer festival, Chitoge is forced to confront her true feelings when she receives from Raku a matchmaking charm customarily exchanged when a man proposes marriage! Things intensify when the gang sets out on an excursion to the beach. The girls show off their cute swimsuits as they have fun under the sun. That evening, as they sat together watching the rolling waves, Kosaki is unable to contain her feelings for Raku and finally expresses her feelings for him...! After an eventful summer break, the students at school begin preparing for the Cultural Festival. Raku is nominated to play the role of Romeo in their class's production of “Romeo & Juliet” while Kosaki is appointed to play Juliet. Raku is beside himself with joy but was also concerned about Chitoge's standoffish attitude towards him since their trip to the beach. For better or for worse, the day of the Cultural Festival arrives and the stage was not the only place where drama ensued! What will happen to this false [NISE ] love [KOI]?!
