Yokai Anime 'Chuya-Den' Launches Kickstarter Campaign Featuring Yu Kobayashi, Yui Horie, Ayumi Fujimura and Fukuen Misato

The Yokai anime “Chuya-Den” featuring the voice talent of
Yū Kobayashi, Yui Horie, Ayumi Fujimura and Fukuen Misato, starts its Kickstarter campaign on October 15th!

Tokyo : WAO! WORLD, Co., Ltd., in collaboration with AWESOME JAPAN, Inc. (representative: Taichi Konno) will begin a crowdfunding campaign for the new animated film, Chuya-Den, on the world's largest crowdfunding site, Kickstarter.

■About the project
The international film festival award recipients and acclaimed animation production company, WAO! WORLD, has brought together a group of talented young artists to produce the original animated work, Chuya-Den. The project goal is to raise $100,000 for the film production costs. Contributors to the project will be able to receive rewards for their pledges, including the digital version of the anime for a pledge of $25, and a Blu-ray/DVD version for $45.

■About Chuya-Den
Chuya-Den follows a cast of supernatural characters called Yokai, in a grand tale of action and emotion turning on the opposing forces of day and night/ good and evil. The Yokai Chanbara has caused the disappearance of the sun, and swept up in the battle are three children who find themselves growing up in their stand against the night.
