Tsukino-Con announces Kensho Ono as Guest

Victoria, BC's anime convention announces Japanese voice actor

Victoria, BC – January 30th, 2015 – Tsukino-Con is pleased to announce Kenshō Ono as its Japanese voice acting guest.

Kenshō Ono is a rising star in the Japanese voice acting industry; his breakout roles as Tetsuya Kuroko in Kuroko no Basket and Ren Hakuryuu in Magi have led to another thirty roles in the short time since. While Kensho is relatively new to the anime voice acting scene, he is a veteran of Japanese television dramas and has dubbed a number of foreign films. While his most well-known non-anime voice credit is as the Japanese voice of Harry Potter from the Harry Potter series, it is also worth noting that he was chosen as the Japanese voice for young Simba from The Lion King when he was just eleven years old.

Previously announced guests include English voice actors Josh Grelle (Attack on Titan, Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple) and Sarah Williams (Madoka Magica, Sword Art Online, Kill la Kill).

ABOUT TSUKINO-CON: Tsukino-Con is a volunteer-run not-for-profit convention that takes place annually at the University of Victoria in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Tsukino-Con is proud to be an independently run event that is dedicated to the delivery of high-quality content by the community, for the community.
