“We are very excited to be working closer with Anime Boston. They have been great to anime fans and friend to Crunchyroll for many years. Creating a closer relationship between both our organizations felt like a natural next step,” says Kun Gao, General Manager and Co-Founder of Crunchyroll.

"Anime Boston is extremely excited about this opportunity to enhance our partnership with Crunchyroll. They are the premiere streaming service for anime, worldwide, and we are the largest anime convention in New England. It's a perfect combination!" says Victor Lee, Anime Boston Chairman.

Held annually under the supervision of the New England Anime Society, Anime Boston started in 2003 with 4,000 members and by 2012 had grown to 22,000 people. This year's convention will be held at Boston's Hynes Convention Center and is expected to draw between 28,000 and 30,000 attendees.
