Frontwing & AKABEi SOFT2 Announce "Sharin no Kuni" Collaborative Localization Project

Tokyo, Japan - March 30, 2016 Frontwing Co.,Ltd. and AKABEi SOFT2 will begin gathering funds for an official “Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shojo” localization project through Kickstarter in June 2016.

We have launched this project because we would like to give players from all around the world the chance to enjoy the popular PC game, “Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shojo,” a classic title for many visual novel fans. The game—which celebrated its tenth anniversary last year—will take the official English title, “Wheel Country, Sunflower Girl.” Frontwing and AKABEi SOFT2, which maintain a strong relationship, are collaborating on this project. The localization project will be managed from Japan.

AKABEi SOFT2 will take charge of game development, and Frontwing will handle the English localization as well as planning for the crowdfunding project. Tokyo Otaku Mode will act as backup support, dealing with project page management and reward fulfillment.
