Portable Version of Summon Night 6 Will Also Get “Wonderful Edition” Treatment
Redding, CA (August 2, 2016)—Last week's announcement of the Summon Night 6: Lost Borders Wonderful Edition took the Internet by storm, as fans were thrilled to learn about the deluxe premium box set of GAIJINWORKS' upcoming strategy/role-playing game for the PlayStation®4. Today, GAIJINWORKS is pleased to announce that—due to overwhelming demand from fans of the PlayStation®Vita handheld—the PS Vita version of Summon Night 6 will also be available in a strictly limited Wonderful Edition box set with nearly identical extras.
“The Summon Night 6: Lost Borders Wonderful Edition box set was planned for the PS4 version of the game only,” says GAIJINWORKS founder Victor Ireland. “But as soon as we announced the details, fans started clamoring for a PS Vita version.” Standard-edition physical retail copies of the PS Vita Summon Night 6 have been in the works all along, but Vita owners wanted the option to purchase the game in a Wonderful Edition box set with all the bonus materials. “We found out pretty quickly that Vita fans love having physical copies of their games,” Ireland explains. “They want the same special bonuses that we're including in the PS4 box set, and starting today, we're offering them a Wonderful Edition of their own.”
In addition to a physical copy of the game in a case with multi-sided artwork coversheet and full-color instruction manual, the PS Vita version of the Summon Night 6: Lost Borders Wonderful Edition box set will include a hardcover art book, the game's complete soundtrack on CD, a plush figure of one of the game's sidekick characters, four different PVC-molded Summon Night 6 drink coasters and a large wall poster, all contained within an exclusive collector's box. The poster will feature different artwork from the poster in the PS4 Wonderful Edition, and the serial-numbered hologram on the outer box will be different as well.
Like the PS4 version, the Summon Night 6: Lost Borders Wonderful Edition for PS Vita is available exclusively from the www.gaijinworks.com Web site. Fans can reserve a copy for a discounted price of $115 between now and September 15th. After that date, reservation vouchers will sell for the full price of $135 until the end of October, when the presale window closes. Shipping charges are additional and will vary by region. After October 31st, no more copies of the Wonderful Edition will be available for purchase. These are strictly limited, serial-numbered editions of the game—GAIJINWORKS will only manufacture enough copies of the Wonderful Edition to fulfill the preorders that are placed before the October 31st deadline.
Fans who miss the Wonderful Edition presale window will still be able to obtain standard physical copies of Summon Night 6 for the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®Vita from North American retail outlets, but they will not include any of the bountiful Wonderful Edition extras. Digital (PSN) versions of the game will also be downloadable in North America, South America and Europe.
