Global Version of "Love Live! School Idol Festival" Celebrates 5 Million Players with Special Event

Tokyo, Japan – November 11, 2016 – KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced that the global version of Love Live! School Idol Festival, its hit game co-developed with Bushiroad Inc., reached a new record of 5 million players worldwide in October of this year. A special event will be held in the global version of the game to celebrate the latest milestone in the game's history.

Special Giveaway: UR "Cherry Girl" Hanayo Koizumi (Idolized)

Event Period: 12 am on Friday, November 11 to 11:59 pm on Saturday, December 10 (UTC)

Players that log in to the game during the event period will receive an additional login bonus of one Love Gem a day for up to six days. As a special present to everyone for making this latest achievement possible, players who log in for seven or more days of the event will receive an exclusive UR "Cherry Girl" Hanayo Koizumi (Idolized).

Login Bonus Details
- First to sixth day: Love Gem x 1 (in addition to regular login bonuses)
- Seventh day: UR "Cherry Girl" Hanayo Koizumi (Idolized)

Players must log in to the game for a total of seven days during the event period to receive this special “Cherry Girl” Hanayo Koizumi and complete the 5 Million Global Players Celebration Event.

About the Love Live! Sunshine!! Project

Love Live! Sunshine!! is a brand new cross-media project based on the concept, "a story that makes our dreams come true." The school idol group “Aqours” (pronounced as “aqua”) formed in Uchiura, Numazu-city, Shizuoka Prefecture is spread among different types of media including CD releases with animation trailer video in DVD & Blu-ray, events, magazines, and smart phone applications.

The project started in April 2015 in Dengeki G's Magazine. The first single, Kimino Kokorowa Kagayaiterukai?, was released in October of the same year, followed by the second single Koini Naritai AQUARIUM on April 27, 2016. The unit single CDs were released one by one starting from May 2016. The TV anime series started airing in Japan in July 2016.
