The Pokémon Company International Unveils Brand-New Gallery Figures Line

Launch Figures Feature Pikachu, Eevee, and More to Coincide with Pokémon Day

BELLEVUE, WA – FEBRUARY 23 2017 – A new line of premium figures from The Pokémon Company International is coming for fans, known as Gallery Figures. These high-quality expressions of Pokémon are the first Pokémon figure line made exclusively for PokemonCenter.com, the official online store for the company in the U.S.

The first release of dynamically posed Gallery Figures includes Pikachu, Eevee, Mew, and Magikarp. The line depicts each Pokémon as it performs one of its signature moves: Mew using Psychic, Eevee using Swift, Magikarp using Splash, and Pikachu using its iconic Thunderbolt attack. The line will also feature premium packaging, specially designed to display the figures either in or out of the box. For fans who want to display the figures out of the packaging, all Pokémon are posed on equally sized bases.

The figures will launch on PokemonCenter.com on Pokémon Day, February 27. Pokémon Day takes place annually on this date in observance of the launch of first Pokémon video games and is celebrated by fans around the world. In addition to the release of these figures, fans can celebrate their love for all things Pokémon and connect with the global fan community on Pokémon Day with the hashtag #PokemonDay.

Additional releases featuring more Pokémon in the Gallery Figures line will be announced later in the year. Each figure is sold separately and will be available for $16.99 on PokemonCenter.com.
