Shadowverse hits the road to show Western gamers a bit of love

Leading Japanese esports title set to wow Western gamers with demos, influencers and plenty of swag at MomoCon, E3, and Japan Expo

TOKYO – May 18, 2017 – Japanese game developer Cygames has announced that it will be taking its smash-hit esports title Shadowverse on the road in coming months to give Western gamers a chance to experience first-hand the fever that has gripped Japan. Starting with MomoCon 2017, which takes place from May 25 to 28 in Atlanta, Georgia, Shadowverse will also bring its unique flavor to The Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles from June 13 to 15, before taking a promenade over to Paris for the Japan Expo from July 6 to 10.

Since its launch in June last year, Shadowverse has established itself as Japan's leading digital collectible card game, and is at the forefront of Japan's burgeoning esports scene. Now, following hot on the heels of the launch of the NGE Shadowverse Open North American esports league, the game is set for a concerted push into North America and Europe with a host of activities designed to give Western gamers a chance to get hands-on with one of the game's seven distinct playing styles.

Be sure to drop by one of the following events to chat to leading Shadowverse players, creators, and cosplayers, and to pick up some of the exclusive merchandise that will be distributed as prizes and giveaways.
