Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Power Rangers at Power Morphicon

Anaheim, CA - The official Power Rangers convention, Power Morphicon, will be hosting a variety of events on August 17th-19th at the Anaheim Convention Center, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the franchise. Some of these events include the Power Rangers Custom Toy contest, the Power Rangers Art Exhibit hosted by Qpop, the Bandai Shokugan Super Mini Pla Power Rangers Megazord Model contest, the Cosplay Contest, and the first Power Morphicon Prom, hosted by That Hashtag Show.

Power Morphicon began as a child's wish to meet the Power Rangers in 2007. The show started at the Wilshire and since 2010, has made the Pasadena Convention Center its home until it outgrew the venue in 2016. At every show, attendance has increased in guests and attendees, and in order to meet the demand, the show's owner, Scott Zillner, has decided to relocate to Anaheim at the Anaheim Convention Center for this year's show.

Scheduled to attend include Jason David Frank, who played Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers; the current cast from Power Rangers Ninja Steel, William Shewfelt (the Red Ranger), Peter Sudarso (the Blue Ranger), Chrysti Ane (the Pink Ranger), Zoe Robins (the White Ranger), Nico Greetham (the Yellow Ranger) and Jordi Webber (the Gold Ranger).

Today's guest announcements brings the total number to 29! Joining the previously announced guests are Jason Faunt, Dan Southworth and Kate Sheldon from Power Rangers Time Force; Carla Perez, Sabrina Lu and Romy J. Sharf from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers; Aly Purrot from Power Rangers SPD, Mike Ginn from Power Rangers RPM, Michael Hollander from VR Troopers, Ann Marie Crouch from Power Rangers Wild Force, Carol Hoyt from Power Rangers Turbo, Brennan Mejia from Power Rangers Dino Charge, Cerina Vincent from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, Melody Perkins from Power Rangers In Space and Lost Galaxy, Jorge Vargas Jr from Power Rangers Ninja Storm, Jeff Parazzo from Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Selwyn Ward & Tracy Lynn Cruz from Power Rangers Turbo and In Space, and Derek Steven Prince, who has voiced various characters from Power Rangers and Beetleborgs!

Making his debut is Patrick David, who played the red Psycho Ranger in Power Rangers In Space and Power Rangers Lost Galaxy! Patrick voiced and played the civilian form of the evil red Psycho Ranger!

Producer Adi Shankar will be appearing at Power Morphicon to speak on his 2015 R-Rated controversial indie short, Power/Rangers, the video that went viral at 12 million views in two days, with a Q&A panel for the first time anywhere!

Power Morphicon is proud to present its 2018 Convention Action Figure exclusive, Lord Drakkon!

Hailing from an alternate timeline, Tommy Oliver rules over the earth with an iron fist, in Rita Repulsa's name! Power Rangers is a live action television series featuring a team of heroes in bright colored costumes, saving the world from evil on a daily basis.
