Serious Lunch Appoints Leila Ouledchiekh as Director of Global Sales
Serious Lunch has appointed former SABAN and CAKE supremo into the newly created position of Director of Global Sales with immediate effect. Leila will carry overall responsibility for sales distribution activities related to the company's select catalogue including ‘Operation Ouch’ and 'Ronia, the Robber's Daughter'. She will report to Genevieve Dexter, for whom she previously worked at CAKE. In addition to selling Serious Lunch titles, she will also act collaboratively with Genevieve on raising finance for sister company, Eye Present's projects including ‘Flix by Tomi Ungerer’, ‘Best & Bester’ and ‘Messy Goes to Okido 3’.
Since 2001, Leila has built a broad and comprehensive experience in the exploitation of kids IP with a focus on content distribution and brand management. Leila began her career at HIT Entertainment and subsequently held senior roles at London based Entertainment Rights and CAKE. Most recently, Leila served as SVP EMEA distribution and consumer products at Saban Brands where she oversaw the UK office operations, and the growth of ‘Power Rangers’.

Serious Lunch has also raised finance for MESSY GOES TO OKIDO, TEE & MO and HORRIBLE SCIENCE since it was founded in 2010 by Genevieve Dexter who also founded Cake Entertainment.
