Brazilian Member of Jam Project is the Composer for the New OP Music for the Second Season of One-Punch Man
The singer-songwriter Ricardo Cruz was responsible for creating the song that will be the main theme of the second season of one of the most anticipated anime of 2019, One-Punch Man.
The Brazilian is part of the Japanese super group JAM Project, a dream team of singers who individually are the original interpreters of tracks of anime and classic japanese series of the caliber of Dragon Ball Z, Saint Seiya, Changeman and One Piece.
The song created by Ricardo - baptized in the WEST. of Uncrowned Greatest Hero (“静寂のアポストル” - Seijaku no Apostle in Japan) - will be the opening of the second season of One-Punch Man that premieres in April of 2019, replacing another song of the JAM Project, The Hero , the theme of the first season. The single is released in Japan on April 24th.
It is the first time that a Brazilian composes a soundtrack of this magnitude for an original anime in Japan.
In Brazil, Ricardo recorded Portuguese versions for the anime Hunter x Hunter, Saint Seiya, and most recently two Dragon Ball Super ending themes, which were screened by Cartoon Network in South America.
The singer also participates in a brazilian group called Danger 3 (http://www.Danger3.com), along with two other national interpreters of tracks of anime: Larissa Tassi (Saint Seiya and Magic Warriors of Rayearth) and Rodrigo Rossi (Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya).
Ricardo has a YouTube channel, called Anison Lab, where he sings anime and tokusatsu songs in Japanese and Portuguese. Last year he did a historical duet with the legendary Akira Kushida (73 years old), the original voice of the classic songs of the Kinnikuman, Dragon Ball Super and tokusatsu genre series.
