Detective Conan 23 Movie Makes a Successful Premiere in Dubai
Detective Conan 23 Movie is Running in Cinemas Today
Dubai, United Arab of Emirates (June 13, 2019): Spacetoon Pictures organized last night in Vox Cinema, City Center Mirdif, a premiere of the Japanese anime movie “Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire”, the 23rd movie of Detective Conan.
The movie incidents occur on the coast of Singapore where many murders take place in conjunction with attempts of stealing “The Fist of Blue Sapphire” a legendary jewel that sank in a pirate ship in the late 19th century. Here starts the mission of Detective Conan, who is in confrontation with a huge conspiracy targeting the whole city, so he goes on to unravel the mystery and find the murderer.
The movie was officially released in the cinemas of UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, KSA, Oman and Kuwait on June 13. The movie is available in Japanese with Arabic and English subtitles, in addition to original Arabic dubbing.
This movie is the second Detective Conan movie to be run in the Arab region, after running the 22nd movie of the series “Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer” last year. Both movies were distributed by Spacetoon Pictures, the specialized company in publishing and distributing cartoon and animation movies in MENA.
Detective Conan 23 movie made a remarkable success in Japan soon after being released last April. The movie made revenues of about $16 million, while the number of sold tickets reached more than a million during the first three days of running, according to Anime Network website.
Fans of anime eagerly wait for April every year to watch a new Detective Conan movie. The movies of the series have achieved many international awards, not to mention The Oscars nominations.
