Animanga Announces Special Guests for Anime & Gaming Convention
Animanga 2019 is the go-to Summer Anime & Gaming Convention of Pomona, CA.
Pomona — June 24, 2019 - The Pomona/East Los Angeles Area's premier anime and gaming convention, Animanga 2019, will be held Friday through Sunday, August 2nd – 4th at the Fairplex Exposition Complex. It will feature a huge arcade, vendors, tournaments, retro gaming consoles, and most importantly special guests. Autograph Signings will be available from Kira Buckland, Sean Chiplock, Brianna Knickerbocker & Kayli Mills.
Alaska born Kira Buckland found her passion for performing while in middle school and originally wanted to be a singer, but at age sixteen she started getting into Japanese animation and video games. She realized people get paid to do these voice overs for a living. She got her start voice acting for online projects, and later moved on to voice a variety of roles in anime, most notably Umi in Love Live, Julis in The Asterisk War, Izumo in Blue Exorcist, Beatrice on Re:Zero −Starting Life in Another World , Zushi in Hunter x Hunter, Cookie and Eco in Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, and Mimete in the new Sailor Moon dub. She also cosplays under the name “Lady Stardust,” and is a huge fan of the manga series “JoJo's Bizarre Adventure”. Kira Buckland will be a guest at Animanga 2019 on August 3rd.
Sean Chiplock is a California-based Voice Actor. He'd voiced a plethora of characters for Commercial, Games, Anime and Web series. You may recall Sean voicing Toyohiro Kanedaichi in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, Yuuki Mishima in Persona 5, Riehlvelt in Hunter x Hunter and Cassim in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and many more.
