Sōichi Masui of Sakura Quest served as director for the series with Masahiro Yokotani (Free!, Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World- ) in charge of the series structure and screenplay. The series featured character design by Satomi Tamura of Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend and Kiznaiver, who also served as chief animation director alongside veteran Akira Takata of the Durarara!!, Natsume's Book of Friends, and [email protected] series.
