In addition, fans of the popular franchise will have even more content to binge as FilmRise is also making it digitally available to stream multiple hours of bonus material from the series. The announcement was made today during the Robotech panel at the 2019 Comic-Con International: San Diego by Harmony Gold.

The content available to stream includes all 85 episodes of the original syndicated television series, all 85 re-mastered “original edit” episodes of the entire series, all 36 episodes of “Super Dimension Fortress Macross,” all 23 episodes of “Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross,” all 25 episodes of “Genesis Climber Mospeada,” the full-length feature film, Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, and, as an added bonus, up to 11 hours of bonus features from both the series and the film.

Below is further information about each installment of “Robotech”:

ROBOTECH: THE ORIGINAL SYNDICATED SERIES (1985)/REMASTERED SYNDICATED SERIES (2005)

When a mysterious spaceship crashes in the Pacific, the people on Earth work to master the science of robotechnology and rebuild the giant fortress. Creating fighter planes that morph into robots, humans struggle to fend off aliens who return to reclaim the spaceship that crashed.

ROBOTECH: SUPER DIMENSION FORTRESS MACROSS (1982)

Later adapted into Robotech, “Super Dimension Fortress Macross” is a Japanese science fiction anime series created by Shōji Kawamori. The show takes place ten years after an alien spaceship the size of a city crashed onto South Atalia Island. The spaceship was found and reconstructed by humans who turned it into the SDF-1 Macross.

SUPER DIMENSION CAVALRY SOUTHERN CROSS (1984)

Later adapted into Robotech, “Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross” is set in a future where humanity has started the colonization of other planets, including the terraformed planet Glorie. The army of The Southern Cross protects the colonists from any dangers. But, Glorie is also the ancestral home of the Zor, an advanced race of nomadic humanoid aliens who have returned to reclaim their world.

GENESIS CLIMBER MOSPEADA (1983)

American viewers know "Genesis Climber Mospeada" as one of the three unrelated series combined to form Robotech. In the original story, Stig Bernard is a dedicated officer in the force sent by the human colony on Mars to free Earth from the alien Inbit, who conquered the planet 33 years earlier.

THE SHADOW CHRONICLES (2007)

Picking up where the original series left off, Scott Bernard continues his search for Rick Hunter and the fate of the SDF-3.
