Voice Actor Showtaro Morikubo at IFF Toronto 2020

TORONTO, ON, NOVEMBER 8th, 2019- IFF Toronto, one of Toronto's hottest anime conventions, proudly presents Showtaro Morikubo as a voice acting guest of honour at International Fan Festival Toronto 2020, taking place from June 19-21, 2020.

IFF Toronto 2020 will be Showtaro Morikubo's first ever Canadian convention appearance. With his unique voice, he has voiced many iconic characters such as Nara Shikamaru (Naruto), Goro Shigeno (MAJOR), Yosuke Hanamura, (Persona4 The Animation), Akaya Kirihara (Prince of Tennis), Bartolomeo (One Piece), Reiji Kotobuki (Uta no Prince Sama franchise), Yusuke Makishima (Yowamushi Pedal), and many more to name. Showtaro Morikubo is also known for his musical talents, releasing several of his musical work under the Lantis label.


IFF Toronto will be hosting its second Canadian event on June 19-21, 2020, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (North Building). IFF Toronto is a multi-day, multi-fandom, Japanese focused event, with a deep appreciation of anime, music, comics, gaming, and novels. After our successful inaugural event with various exclusive Japanese contents, we continue to strive to bring high quality guests, content, and experiences to the fans of Toronto. Our goal is to create a small yet intimate event where fans can discover, rediscover, or reinvigorate their passions. IFF's first international event took place in Osaka, Japan, on October 6-7, 2018, welcoming a range of Japanese and American voice acting and musical guests.
